Hotel D'Angleterre
Hotel d'Angleterre is one of the first deluxe hotels in the world. Situated in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located on Kongens Nytorv opposite Charlottenborg, the Royal Opera and Nyhavn. Tracing its history back to 1755, the current building was built 1873-75, the work of leading Danish architect Vilhelm Dahlerup.[1] It has long been considered the most prestigious and elegant hotel in the city. The hotel's name is French meaning "England Hotel". It is currently undergoing a significant renovation and will be re-opened in 2012.
Following the relaunch in 2012, Hotel D'Angleterre will have 90 rooms and suites, a brasserie, bar and lounge, a restaurant and a champagne bar, as well as an urban spa and health club.
